Announcement Regarding the Change in Disclosure of Margin Accounts
*5 The number of accounts from August to December 2010 includes duplicated accounts due to the merger of Monex, Inc. and former ORIX Securities Corporation (OSC), and duplicated accounts taken over from OSC. 38,500 securities accounts in August 2010, and 100,155 securities accounts (including 1,607 margin accounts) in December 2010 were closed respectively, and the numbers in the table reflect such closures.
